(03:57:27 PM) adam: Hi, this is Adam (I run the store). Let me know if you need any help with the site.
(03:57:54 PM) Visitor 65780622: Thanks. I think I've got it figured out. I'll let you know if something comes up.
(03:58:03 PM) adam: OK, cool. :)
(03:58:40 PM) Visitor 65780622: What's your standard shipping time?
(03:58:56 PM) adam: Things usually go in the mail the same day.
(03:59:11 PM) adam: Orders places before 4 are at the post office by 5.
(03:59:57 PM) Visitor 65780622: Awesome. About how many days does the Priority Mail Flat Rate take for delivery?
(04:00:23 PM) adam: Where are you located? (We ship from San Diego)
(04:00:31 PM) Visitor 65780622: Ashland, OH
(04:00:54 PM) adam: It's guaranteed at 3 days. Though it could be 2 because the post office moves faster this time of year.
(04:01:00 PM) adam: (business days)
(04:01:29 PM) Visitor 65780622: Oh, perfect. Just wanted to make sure we'd have it in in time for my leaders to go through the first week's curriculum. Thanks
(04:01:38 PM) adam: No problem.
(04:04:59 PM) adam: Great. I see your order. Whenever my kids decide to get out of bed, they'll pack that up and get it to the post office by noon. (Yes, the cartel is run with child labor!)
(04:05:21 PM) Visitor 65780622: hahahaha, that's awesome
(04:05:43 PM) Visitor 65780622: Thanks, for all your help! I love your website. Hopefully I'll be coming back for more soon
(04:05:47 PM) Visitor 65780622: Bye!
(04:06:13 PM) adam: Bye

So, in summary...
Orders placed during the day usually hit the post office between 4-5 PM. And orders that come in after that trip to the post office just ship the next day.
Sometimes, like when we have a new product release and things are a bit loco... there's multiple trips to the post office per day. (UPS orders are picked up every day... usually after 5 PM.)
If you pick a shipping option other than First Class mail, you'll get a tracking number in your order completion email. Of course, if you have an account you can also look that information up from your account page.
